The build towards ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ SummerSlam 2025 continues to intensify as WWE gears up to deliver the July 25 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This week’s episode is set to air live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Multiple top names, including Cody Rhodes, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, among others, Country star Jelly Roll is also set to make an appearance ahead of his SummerSlam match alongside Randy Orton.

Matches & segments confirmed for 07/25 WWE SmackDown

  • The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) (c) vs Andrade & Rey Fenix – WWE Tag Team titles
  • Alexa Bliss vs Roxanne Perez
  • Randy Orton & Jelly Roll – Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul face off
  • Cody Rhodes to appear

The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) (c) vs Andrade & Rey Fenix – WWE Tag Team titles

The newly formed tag team of Rey Fenix and Andrade defeated DIY, Motor City Machine Guns & Fraxiom in a #1 Contenders fatal four-way match for the WWE Tag Team titles on last week’s show.

Andrade and Fenix are now set to battle the current Tag Champions, Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis), on this week’s show. Gacy and Lumis recently defeated the Street Profits to capture the stable’s first title in the WWE.

Alexa Bliss vs Roxanne Perez

On last week’s show, Charlotte Flair pinned Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match, and now her tag partner, Alexa Bliss, is set to battle Raquel’s tag partner, Roxanne Perez, in a singles match this week in Ohio.

Raquel and Perez are set to defend the Women’s Tag Titles once again at SummerSlam, this time in a tag team match against the team of Flair and Bliss. The Champions were recently retained at Evolution in a fatal four-way tag team match, which also involved the team of Flair and Bliss.

Randy Orton & Jelly Roll – Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul face off

Ahead of their SummerSlam clash, the team of Randy Orton and country star Jelly Roll are set to make an appearance on this week’s show. The team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul are also scheduled for an appearance on the show.

Both teams have a lot of bad blood, which even spilled out last week when Jelly Roll hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was gate-crashed by Paul and McIntyre. Orton and McIntyre started brawling while Logan continued humiliating and slapping Jelly, who fired back, putting Paul through the desk.

‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes is set to make an appearance on this week’s show as per his July schedule. On last week’s show, Rhodes forced John Cena to sign the SummerSlam contract and later announced that the Undisputed title rematch will now be contested in a street fight at the upcoming PLE.
