The Survivor Series fallout show set the stage for SNME.

The December 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown served as the fallout show for the 2025 edition of Survivor Series. The fallout show emanated live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

The show featured the finals of the tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent. Gunther defeated LA Knight to win the finals and secure his spot against Cena in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event next week.

Cody Rhodes attacked Drew McIntyre and pleaded with GM Nick Aldis to reinstate McIntyre to kick off the show. Ilja Dragunov defeated Carmelo Hayes to retain the US title, while Alexa Bliss defeated Kairi Sane in a singles match.

Furthermore, Jade Cargill pinned Alba Fyre, while Solo Sikoa and the MFTs & the Wyatt Sicks brawled after Solo Sikoa’s intense promo. During the show, the promotion also announced multiple matches for next week’s show.

During the show, Damian Priest delivered a promo, insisting he couldn’t be broken and wasn’t delusional, saying Aleister Black burning his face only slowed down what was bound to happen anyway. Priest added that since Black involved his wife, Zelina Vega, he was bringing Rhea Ripley into the fight.

Rhea then stepped in and said Black’s real mistake was thinking he could provoke Priest without her showing up. She added that Zelina hadn’t rattled Priest at all; she’d simply signed her own death warrant and then announced a mixed tag match against Black and Vega for next week.

Furthermore, after the attack by Nia Jax and Lash Legend on Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss following Bliss’ win over Kairi Sane, Bliss is set to take on Legend in a singles action next week.

Additionally, Tomasso Ciampa finally got his wish after attacking Carmelo Hayes and inadvertently helping Ilja Dragunov retain the title this week. Dragunov asked for the match himself and will now defend the United States title next week against Ciampa.

The December 12 episode of WWE SmackDown is set to air live from the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The episode will serve as the go-home show for the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
