Cody Rhodes kicked off the show, reflecting on the DQ loss last week, asking the crowd if he needed to apologize for hitting Drew with the title, something uncharacteristic of him. Drew McIntyre then interrupted him, stating that he needs to finish his story next weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

McIntyre then denied attacking Jacob Fatu last week, and implied that Jimmy Uso might have taken a page out of his wife Naomi. Rhodes tried to rope McIntyre in for a fight, but just then, Jimmy Uso attacked McIntyre.

Security and officials rushed in to separate the two as Big Jim got away and dove in through the ropes to rain down a few more punches to end the segment.

Uso then said he was going to speak with Nick Aldis.

A tag to Nakamura turned the tide; however, Solo Sikoa distracted the referee, while Talla Tonga chokeslammed Fenix on the apron. Tama followed it up with a running elbow to pick up the win in the tag team match.
