Sol Ruca sustained an injury ahead of the title match at Clash in Italy.
According to a report from Rope Break, multiple talents suffered injuries during Saturday Night’s Main Event last weekend, and Sol Ruca is among the injured stars. Ruca is said to be banged up after the non-title match against Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, where she picked up the win via DQ.
The exact nature of Ruca’s injury has not been disclosed. That said, a rematch between the two was announced at the event shortly after their match in a backstage segment.
The injury news has sparked speculations regarding the title match, and here we will take a look at four WWE superstars who can step up to challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental title at Clash in Italy, if Ruca is forced to pull out due to the injury.
4. Maxxine Dupri

At the start of the year, Becky Lynch was engaged in a feud against Maxxine Dupri. The feud saw Dupri become a massive fan favorite and even capture the IC title, overcoming the odds. While Becky was able to regain the title, Dupri has since largely been absent from programming, barring the short-lived feud with Nattie, who betrayed Dupri during her title defense against Becky.
Dupri can step up to challenge Becky and with WWE teasing Dupri joining the Vision faction, they can help Dupri win the title against Becky, adding another layer to the Vision’s feud against Seth Rollins.
3. Ivy Nile

Similar to Dupri, Ivy Nile has sporadically been present in programming. She was involved in the title drama, demanding a title shot, but coming up short against then-Champion Dupri. As the American Made stable is busy in AAA with the “Original” El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano feud, Nile can use this opportunity to fight for the title.
A big stage at the international PLE will also give Nile the opportunity to showcase her in-ring skill and athleticism.
2. Lyra Valkyria

Another woman who has been part of programming since Becky Lynch‘s return, in fact, Lyra Valkyria was the one who Becky teamed up during her WrestleMania 41 return. The two Irishwomen engaged in a prolonged feud with the Intercontinental title at the center of it.
Since the feud, Valkyria has not achieved any major success, despite teaming up with Bayley. Reviving the feud with Becky if Ruca pulls out will push Lyra once again into the mainstream.
1. Bayley

The treatment of Bayley, including the back-to-back losses, the lack of main event exposure, and the forgotten heel turn angle, has left many fans disappointed with the WWE, especially since Bayley is a massive fan-favorite. WWE’s failure to write good creative for Bayley has been baffling to say the least.
Even Becky Lynch taking Bayley’s spot at WrestleMania 41, replacing her to join Valkyria, could have been used in a storyline. That said, if Ruca pulls out of the title match, WWE should opt to book Becky vs Bayley for the title, and using the Mania angle will help fans care about the match, which is only few days away now.
Is Sol Ruca injured?
Yes, per Rope Break, it has been revealed that multiple talents suffered injuries during the event last Saturday, and Sol Ruca is among the injured stars.
When and where will Clash in Italy take place?
