WWE SummerSlam 2025 ticket update; first look at massive stage construction & concept set up

The 2025 edition will be the first non-WrestleMania PLE to be held as a two-day event.

The 2025 edition of SummerSlam is set to make history as the biggest edition of the summer classic to date, featuring a two-night spectacle from the iconic MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 2 and 3.

For the first time ever, the show will span across two nights, mirroring the format previously reserved only for WrestleMania. The show will feature stars from Raw and SmackDown brands and will be the first SummerSlam PLE to stream on Netflix.

SummerSlam ticket update

The 2025 edition of the PLE is set to make history as it is close to reaching the milestone of surpassing 100,000 tickets sold across its two-day format at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

According to the latest data from Wrestletix, WWE has already distributed 97,855 tickets combined between Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s show (night one) has moved 47,468 tickets with a current setup of 50,088 seats, while Sunday’s (Night two) has distributed 50,387 tickets from its 52,069-seat configuration.

First look at SummerSlam stage construction

During this week’s go-home episode of Monday Night Raw, the promotion gave fans a special sneak peek at the early stages of the massive stage construction for the first-ever two-night PLE.

Since the sneak peek, fans with access to the stadium have shared footage and images of the under-construction stage.

The footages highlight the massive scale of the production, featuring towering lighting structures and large stage components already being assembled. The setup suggests that WWE is preparing a WrestleMania-calibre spectacle for the inaugural two-night edition of ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer.’

Concept set up by Coast2Coast Designs

Ahead of the show, a YouTube channel named Coast2Coast Designs has uploaded a video titled ‘stage reveal showcase & pyro animation’. The digital stage concept reveals and demonstrates the stage design, construction progress, and the planned fireworks and lighting for the 2025 edition.

The detailed stage concept features elaborate lighting rigs, large curved panel screens, and pyro animations likely created with the help of the stage construction photos and footage.

Fans are now waiting for the WWE to officially reveal the set for the first-ever two-night show of ‘the biggest party of the summer’.
