The 2025 edition of the PLE will be a two-night affair!

The countdown to the 38th edition of SummerSlam has begun this week. The 2025 edition of the show is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025. The show will emanate live from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A.

It will be the 38th edition of the PLE since its inception in 1988, and the first SummerSlam to take place across two nights, a special privilege that was only reserved for WrestleMania.

The promotion has kicked off the build in style and is now gearing up to deliver the go-home show of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, ahead of the PLE.

The June 28 episode of Monday Night Raw concluded live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Stars set to clash met for the final time to hype up their match, with many confrontations leading into a brawl.

WWE is now gearing up to deliver the August 01 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which is set to air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It will be the final show of the week ahead of SummerSlam.
