Drew McIntyre is one of the most vocal football fans from WWE.

WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) have fans all over the world. Most of their events take place in the USA, but they have managed to secure a big fan base for themselves.

Football is a well-known and loved sport. It is also known as Soccer in some parts of the world. Some fans are truly loyal to the football clubs they love.

Similar to that, many WWE superstars have a love for football in them and support their respective clubs wholeheartedly.

These wrestling stars are bent on portraying the larger-than-life characters during a WWE event, but outside of that, they also have a passion for soccer, like so many other people across the world.

Numerous wrestling stars do come out and show their support for their favourite clubs. WWE recently introduced the Legacy Title Belts, showcasing the official colours and branding of 13 major European football clubs.

Balor is a big supporter of the English Premier League side and the UEFA Europa League 2024-25 winners, Tottenham Hotspur. He enjoys their matches and has been spotted during their matches multiple times.

8. Becky Lynch (Tottenham Hotspur)

Becky Lynch, also known as “The Man”, is a charismatic WWE superstar. She has won multiple titles in her career.

She has also played a significant part in promoting women’s wrestling. Multiple times during her interviews, Lynch has mentioned that she is a Spurs fan.

7. Santos Escobar (Club America)

Santos Escobar started coming into the limelight after aligning with Rey Mysterio in WWE. He is a fan of Liga MX giants Club America.

Escobar has often mentioned the club’s name during his promos by defining their greatness in the Mexican league.

6. Wade Barrett (Preston North End)

Wade Barrett is a former WWE wrestler who is currently a commentator for the company. He is a massive fan of Preston North End, who are currently a part of the EFL Championship. Barrett grew up supporting the club and his father was also a big PNE fan.

The “Ring General” Gunther has his allegiance to the Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04. Wade Barrett clarified that even though Gunther grew up supporting his hometown club SK Rapid Wien, he now supports FC Schalke 04 of the German football league.

Recently, during the European tour of WWE, Gunther also trolled the Barcelona fans with “Hala Madrid” chants during his promo.

The Celtic Warrior Sheamus is a huge Liverpool fan. He celebrated the 2019 UEFA Champions League win of Liverpool with a trademark Brogue Kick of excitement.

Sheamus is a long-time fan of the Merseyside club. He also talks about the Reds through is social media accounts.

The Chief Content Officer (CCO) of the WWE, Paul Levesque, also goes by his in-ring name Triple H, is a big fan of the East London club West Ham United.

Hunter has admitted that he does not know much about football, but he is in love with the Premier League club West Ham.

Rey Mysterio supports the LaLiga and the European giants Real Madrid. In the past, the WWE Hall of Famer has visited the iconic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to meet some of their former players. Rey Mysterio has also displayed his support for the Mexico national football team on several occasions.
