The 2026 edition of Survivor Series: WarGames will close out 2026.
The wait for WWE fans is over as the Stamford-based promotion officially confirmed the date and venue for the 2026 edition of Survivor Series: WarGames.
Earlier reports revealed that WWE was planning to host the PLE at an international location. However, those plans fell through in the last few months. The reports also noted that Boston, Massachusetts, was in contention to host this year’s Survivor Series, but discussions broke down over the financial terms of the agreement.
Survivor Series 2026 will emanate from Houston
After a lot of speculation, WWE, before the July 13 edition of Raw, announced that Survivor Series: WarGames will return in 2026 on November 28.
The 40th edition of the PLE will air live from the Daikin Park in Houston, Texas, marking its return to the city for the first time since 2017, when the show emanated from the Toyota Center in Houston.
“WWE, in partnership with Houston First Corporation and the Houston Astros, have announced that Survivor Series: WarGames will be at Daikin Park in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 28, marking the event’s return to the city for the first time since 2017.” the announcement read.
Similar to the previous event, the 2026 edition will also feature the WarGames match, a team-based steel cage bout held inside a roofless structure that surrounds two side-by-side rings.
Two WarGames matches in the men’s and women’s divisions will be the main attraction of Survivor Series as WWE will look to close out 2026 with a bang.
WWE is currently gearing up to deliver the July 18 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will take place at MSG in New York. SNME will be followed by Summer’s Biggest Party, SummerSlam, in August.
The 39th edition of SummerSlam will air as a two-night spectacle on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
