WWE-TNA Collaboration could extend to future events

On the May 28, 2024 episode of NXT, the TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made her appearance and was revealed to be the challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground. Jordynne’s appearance was one of the biggest shocking moments in NXT history and it was the first collaboration between NXT and TNA.

Grace has already appeared on Royal Rumble 2024 to participate in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. As most wonder what the potential WWE-TNA collaboration is all about, here is everything we know about it.

WWE-TNA Collaboration

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that the word backstage at the NXT taping is that Jordynne Grace’s NXT appearance at Battle Ground won’t be the only collaboration between WWE & TNA. The report suggests that the belief in the backstage of NXT is that there will be NXT stars representing at TNA’s future events.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider said,

“The word backstage at tonight’s WWE NXT taping was that Jordynne Grace appearing on WWE NXT Battleground will not be the only WWE-TNA collaboration in the days ahead. The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that there will be some sort of NXT representation on future TNA events and programming as well, although we haven’t heard how much that could be and whether it could be anyone beyond Roxanne Perez.”

Based on the reports it seems like, we could see the NXT-TNA collaboration for the upcoming TNA Against All Odds PPV on June 14, 2024, at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.

Jordynn Grace is not the first TNA/Impact star to appear in WWE, Mickie James appeared in WWE in 2022 to participate in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

WWE’s Cedric Alexander asks for a TNA X Division Championship title shot

Following Jordynne’s NXT appearance, Cedric Alexander wrote on Twitter wondering if he could fight Mustafa Ali for the TNA X Division Championship. Cedric Alexander wrote, “So does this mean I can finally challenge for the #XDivision title @MustafaAli X”.

To which Ali recalled how he got the Cruiserweight title shot against Cedric Alexander and teased of returning the favor. Mustafa Ali wrote, “I had a shot at your cruiserweight title. I should return the favor…”

Could we be able to see more crossovers between the two major promotions? If you think yes, whose appearance you are awaited for?
