Lil Yachty will make his in-ring debut in his hometown.
Rapper Lil Yachty is gearing up for his in-ring debut in WWE after this past week’s edition of SmackDown in Toronto. Yachty has been making appearances since before WrestleMania as a hype man for the rising star, Trick Williams.
Yachty has also been involved in Williams’ feud with Baron Corbin, who defeated Williams at SummerSlam to capture the United States title and then retained the title in a rematch. On SmackDown, Williams asked for a rematch, but Corbin declined, leading to Yachty and Williams attacking him.
Corbin then suggested a match against Yachty in his hometown at SNME, and if he lasts five minutes against him, then Williams will get the title rematch.
Yachty has accepted the challenge and is gearing up for his debut at the September 6 edition of Sunday Night’s Main Event, which will air live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Ahead of his debut, we have new updates regarding his training for the debut and his future in WWE.

According to a report from PWInsider, Hendry has been involved in WWE’s first project under its partnership with ReelShort. The project is described as a “live-action microdrama” and will be released on mobile platforms.
Hendry is working on the inaugural project from the partnership WWE announced with ReelShort. However, there is currently no word on when he will return to WWE television or when the untitled microdrama is set to premiere.
