The Spaniard signed a one-year extension with the Lions.
Delhi Dynamos FC has retained midfield maestro Marcos Tebar for the upcoming season of the Hero Indian Super League 2019-20. The Spaniard, who donned the captain’s armband in the later half of the season, will wear the Dynamos’ jersey for the third time, after having spent one season with FC Pune City in between.
The backbone of Delhi’s midfield, Marcos was an integral part of Head Coach Josep Gombau’s gameplay. In his 13 appearances last season, the midfielder scored one goal while he has two assists to his name. Known for his pin point passing accuracy, Tebar was the figure in the Dynamos’ midfield to look out for.
A product of the Real Madrid academy, Marcos has played for the Spanish giants at different levels before making a move to Rayo Vallecano and Girona. He joined the Indian Super League in 2016 when he signed up for Delhi Dynamos, but moved to FC Pune City in the following season. Tebar returned to the Dynamos last season and now he is all set to extend his run with the team.
