I want to thank the club- Julen Lopetegui in a classy message
Now the former Los Blancos manager replied to the sack in a positive way.
Post the sacking from Real Madrid, Julen Lopetegui has issued an honest statement thanking the club just a couple of days after the first El Clasico of the season. Los Blancos have had one of the worst starts in their history, winning just six games with last win coming over a month ago on 22nd September. Sunday's colourless display in Camp Nou was the last nail in the coffin for Lopetegui.
The Madrid board blasted Lopetegui over the performance of the club, announcing the departure of the former Spanish coach but Julen replied on a positive note. "After the decision taken by the Real Madrid board of directors, I want to thank the club for the opportunity they gave me," Lopetegui said.
"Thank you to the players for their effort and their work, as well as to each and every one of the club’s employees, for their good treatment during this time. And, of course, my gratitude to the fans for their backing. I send them my best wishes for the rest of the season," said Julen.
While Lopetegui's father blamed the board after Real's thumping from Barcelona. “They have stolen 50 goals from my son," said Jose Lopetegui in distress.
He continued, "They’re missing a prominent goalscorer. They haven't bought one, not a single one. There was talk of Neymar and others, but no one came.”
The point is fair on his end that the club did not bring in a proven goalscorer in place of the departing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Solari will manager the team in the round of 32 clash, against Melilla in Copa Del Rey.
Although Solari is touted to be en route the same path like Zinedine Zidane who became the manager of Real Madrid in the similar fashion, Mauricio Pochettino, Roberto Martinez, Jose Mourinho, Fernando Hierro and Laurent Blanc are all in contention to take the coveted job.
