Manchester United currently has an amazing squad of players– Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The Red Devils visit Cardiff City for their upcoming Premier League fixture, with the new gaffer hoping to notch a victory.
Earlier this week, Manchester United had confirmed the appointment of their former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the interim manager has quoted that he feels like "coming home" following the appointment. The Norweign manager will be with the club for the remainder of the season.
Sharing his views with MUTV, he said, "It’s great. It feels like coming home, I have to say. It’s been a few whirlwind days, of course, it’s been very hectic, but it’s just great to see everyone again.”
A lot is expected from the manager as his former club Molde has displayed attacking style football, something the Red Devils' faithful direly craved for.
"Well, it’s six months, I’m going to enjoy the ride. I’m back home. It’s about seeing the players, seeing the staff and of course just being myself. I know the club is in the process of finding a new manager and I’m just going to be myself in the meantime," Ole said.
The striker was an integral part in Sir Alex Ferguson's dominance era of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He scored the winner in the UEFA Champions League Final in 1999, winning the final trophy of that treble, way late in the injury time.
Commenting on his fondest memories, "Wow. I can’t just talk about just one [memory at Old Trafford] but of course my debut when I came on and scored. I turned around, Eric’s the first one who celebrated with me." He credited Sir Alex for all his teachings, "I have to say I had the best teacher. The boss (Sir Alex Ferguson) is and will always be the best at how you manage people so my management involves around what I learned from him."
Before everything, Ole has a huge task to handle four games coming in the next 11 days. “We’ll just get the players enjoying football, and I’m looking forward to seeing he supporters again. “You certainly get to see the players in a game, in a pressure situation, but I think the amount of games coming up is no problem because you’ve got this amazing squad of players."

The manager was with Manchester United reserves just after his retirement in 2007. He won two trophies and enjoy a healthy relationship with Paul Pogba having worked with him during his time at United till 2010.
