Jose Mourinho left in the dark on Anthony Martial's return
The 22-year old scored nine goals in 18 Premier League games last season.
Jose Mourinho has said that he doesn't know if French winger Anthony Martial will link-up with the Manchester United team on their return to England.
The former Monaco player started both of his team's first two fixtures on their US pre-season tour, before being permitted to leave for the birth of his second child. Although, the Portuguese stated that he was happy for him, he felt the striker should have returned to the tour.
When asked about Martial's return after his team's 2-1 pre-season victory over Real Madrid, Mourinho replied, "Anthony Martial? Is better for [press officer] Karen [Shotbolt] to answer if she wants to answer." Shotbolt then replied, "We're here to talk about the game."
Later on, he was asked the same question by another reporter. To this Mourinho replied, "I don't know." He further added that Phil Jones, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku have returned earlier than their planned dates for pre-season training – to be ready for United's first Premier League fixture on 10th August against Leicester City.

Plus Marcus Rashford, (Phil) Jones and (Romelu) Lukaku because they gave to the group and to the team three days of their holiday. So, they're coming back three days early to try and be available for the team."
The "Special One" also kept on repeating the word "majority" when saying that his players have a positive spirit. He quipped, "With the fantastic spirit we have in the majority of the players, I repeat in the majority of the players we have a fantastic spirit. We go with everything we have into the Premier League."
