The Monaco Diamond League 2023 is back with its ninth leg which is all set to kick off at Stade Louis II in Fontvieille, Monaco on July 21, 2023. Several star athletes are set to take part in the competition helping them valuable points and also adds as a pre-cursor to the World Athletics Championships scheduled to be held in Hungary.
Praveen Chitravel is the lone Indian to compete at the Monaco Diamond League in men's Triple Jump. After a break of one-month the national record holder from Tamil Nadu will be back in action. He last participated at the National Inter-States athletics meet and leapt past the Hangzhou Asian Games qualifying mark inside two jumps set by AFI (Athletics Federation of India).
The Triple Jumper was scheduled to take part in Asian Athletics Championships 2023 but to fully fit and injury free he opted out from taking part in the meet.
