HS Prannoy and Satwik-Chirag are the only Indians in the top 10.

India's mixed doubles pair Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy achieved their career best rankings of World No. 32 in the recently released BWF (Badminton World Federation) World Rankings on Tuesday (June 27th). The pair were placed 33rd last week and rose up by a spot to achieve their personal best rank. On the other hand, seasoned campaigners Ashwini Ponnappa and Sumeeth Reddy jumped ahead by one spot and are ranked 62nd — second best Indian mixed doubles pair currently.

Meanwhile, HS Prannoy continues to hold on to the top 10 spot and has jumped by a spot to sit pretty on the eighth spot. The Malaysia Masters winner did not have a great outing in Chinese Taipei Open last week, losing in the quarter-finals to Hong Kong's Angus Ka Long but has moved up the ladder.

In contrast, Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth both dropped down by a spot and are presently ranked 19th and 20th respectively. The former will have a good chance to move up the rankings table as he is set to play in the North American legs in the next two weeks. Srikanth, on the other hand, will be back after three weeks break to play in the Korea Open.

Two-time Olympic medallist, PV Sindhu, continued to hold on to the 12th spot. She did not take part in the Taipei Open last week but will be back to action next week at the Canada Open. Sindhu might have a fair chance to get back to the top 10 if she performs well across both Canada and the USA Open. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty achieved their career best WR-3 the previous week have held on to their spot firmly in the men's doubles section.
