HS Prannoy and Saina Nehwal to lead the Indian contingent
After the recently concluded Indonesia Open 2023, the focus now shifts to the last tournament in the Asian leg, Taipei Open 2023 (BWF Super 300). The tournament was started in the 1970s and since has been held regularly every year. It was formerly named the Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold (2007-2017). Since 2018 it was renamed to Taipei Open.
Only two Indians have won the tournament before (Saina Nehwal in 2008 and Jwala Gutta/Valiyaveeti Diju in 2009).
