Indonesia Open 2023: Updated Schedule, fixtures, results and live streaming details
Viktor Axelsen is set to make his return after an injury.
After the recently concluded Singapore Open the focus now shifts to the Indonesia Open 2023 (last tournament of the SEA Leg). It is one of the four Super 1000 tournaments that will commence on June 13th. The tournament was inaugurated in 1982 and has been played regularly. It became the part of BWF Super Series in 2007 and Super Series Premier in 2011. In 2018 it was upgraded to Super 1000 tournament. The Tournament will take place at the Istora, one of the most beautiful venues.
Defending Champion Viktor Axelsen is back to the tour after a hamstring injury and will look to defend his title here at Istora. This will be the first-ever Super 1000 tournament, since the start of the Olympic qualification cycle. Only two Indians have won the Indonesia Open, Saina Nehwal thrice (2009, 2010 and 2012) and Kidambi Srikanth (2017).
