Where and how to watch BWF Australian Open 2023 live in India?
Only two Indians have won the title before
The Australian Open 2023 will take place at the State Sports Centre in Sydney, Australia. The tournament will commence from the 1st of August and finish on the 6th of the same month. It is also known as the Sathio Group Australian Open 2023 for sponsorship reasons and has a total prize money of US$420,000.
This will be the 19th tournament in the 2023 BWF World tour. Badminton Australia is organizing the tournament with sanctions from the BWF. This year in fact is quite special as the tournament has been upgraded to BWF World Tour Super 500.
Till date only two Indians have been able to win trophies at the Australian Open. Saina Nehwal was the first to do so in 2016. The following year it was male shuttler Kidambi Srikanth's turn to add another trophy in India's cabinet. This year the "Blues" would surely be determined to add way more trophies in their cabinet with the form that their players are in.
