India's top men's doubles duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty rise to career best World No.2 spot in men's doubles in the recently released BWF Rankings on Tuesday. The Asian champions have moved up by a one spot after a third BWF 500 tour title win at the Korea Open last week.

Apart from the three BWF title wins this year, Satwik-Chirag became the first Indian men's duo to claim the gold medal at the Asian Badminton Championships and currently are on a ten match unbeaten streak followed by two successive title wins.

Other Indians in the fray, HS Prannoy retained his 10th place after a second round exit last week at the Korea Open. Lakshya Sen after a successful American tour withdrew from Korea Open which sees him lose a spot and is ranked 13th. His compatriot Kidambi Srikanth remains steady on WR-20.

In the women's section, PV Sindhu retains WR-17 from last week with Saina Nehwal dropping a spot to WR-37. After exiting midway in the opening encounter at Korea Open, MR Arjun and Dhru Kapila retain WR-27 spot.
