The BWF Hylo Open 2023 is an annual badminton tournament inaugurated in 1988. This will be the 35th edition of the tournament. In 2018, the tournament was Super 100 tournament and in 2021 was upgraded to Super 500. However, in the following year it was again downgraded to super 300. The 2023 edition is scheduled be held at Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken, Germany, from 31 October to 5 November 2023.

Ronald Sushilo is the first men's singles player from Singapore to have won a title here in the year 2006. The same year, Jiang Yanmei and Li Yujia won the title in the women's doubles sector which remains the only title win in the doubles discipline for Singapore. 2021 World Champion, Loh Kean Yew, won the title in 2021 and remains the last Singaporean shuttler to do so.
