BWF Orleans Masters 2025: All you need to know about prize money and points on offer

The BWF Orleans Masters 2025 is scheduled to be held in Orleans, France, from March 4 to 9. As a Super 300 tournament on the BWF World Tour circuit, it offers significant ranking points and prize money, attracting many top international shuttlers. With a prize pool of US$240,000, the tournament serves as a key event in the BWF circuit.

Players to watch
The men’s singles event includes top seed Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia, who is returning from injury. This will be Lee’s first tournament since the World Tour Finals in December 2024. Followed by Lee Zii Jia are Lin Chun-yi of Chinese Taipei and Loh Kean Yew of Singapore. French stars Alex Lanier and Toma Junior Popov will look to make a deep run on home soil.
In the women’s singles, world champion An Se-young headlines the competition. Other key contenders include Wang Zhiyi, Han Yue, Pornpawee Chochuwong, and Chen Yufei.
Meanwhile, in men’s doubles, the focus will be on Paris Silver medallist Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang and Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik from Malaysia. The women’s doubles event will see competition from South Korea’s Baek Ha-na/Lee So-hee and Malaysia’s Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan.

Meanwhile, the mixed doubles category will see tough competition from top seeds Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei of Malaysia. The tournament will also feature Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto, Sathish Kumar Karunakaran/Aadya Variyath and Rohan Kapoor/Gadde Ruthvika Shivani from India.
As for Indian participation, the Men’s Singles category includes HS Prannoy, Priyanshu Rajawat, Kiran George, and Sathish Kumar Karunakaran. In the women’s section, Malvika Bansod, Shruti Mishra, and Priya Konjengbam form the only Indian pair in the Women’s Doubles event. For men’s doubles, Sai Pratheek K. / Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy and Hariharan Amsakarunan / Ruban Kumar Rethinasabapathi are the participants from India.
