Puma roped in badminton ace PV Sindhu as a brand ambassador earlier this year.

When the best of two worlds — Bollywood’s Kareena Kapoor and Badminton ace PV Sindhu — come together, what comes out is a perfect blend of bold, style, and athleisure. The biggest stars of their own field teamed up for PUMA’s latest campaign, turning heads in striking gym attire that quickly caught the attention of netizens.

The star-studded campaign featured Kareena Kapoor and PV Sindhu together, as they posed in bold gym attire with the caption, “Gym class today, and everyday.” Fans quickly flooded the comment section with love and praise for the powerhouse duo.

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Sindhu’s association with the sportswear manufacturers PUMA began earlier this year when she was signed as a brand ambassador, joining the list of other star athletes like Virat Kohli, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Paralympic gold medalist Avani Lakhera.

Sindhu, after her heartbreak at the 2025 China Open—where she lost to India’s 17-year-old rising star Unnati Hooda—opted to skip the Macau Open.

In Sindhu’s absence, India’s women’s singles campaign ended early, with only Rakshitha Ramraj reaching the Round of 16 before falling to Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan. On the men’s side, India’s run concluded in the semi-finals, as both Lakshya Sen and Tharun Mannepalli bowed out before the final.

Currently World No. 15, Sindhu is still searching for her first title of the 2025 season. At the Japan Open in July, she suffered a straight-games defeat to South Korea’s Sim Yu Jin, marking her fifth first-round exit this year.

With the BWF World Championships set to take place from August 25 to 31, Sindhu will be hoping to rediscover her form. The tournament has been a successful stage for the Indian star in the past — she has won a total of five medals: one gold, two silver, and two bronze.

Sindhu’s last title came in 2024 at the Asian Team Championships, where she helped the Indian women’s team clinch a historic gold medal. In individual events, her most recent singles triumph was at the 2024 Syed Modi International, where she claimed the women’s singles crown.

When will PV Sindhu be in action next?
