China Masters 2025: Updated Schedule, fixtures, results & live streaming details

Denmark’s Anders Antonsen will look to defend his title at China Masters 2025.

Following the completion of Hong Kong Open, the BWF Super 750 tournament China Masters 2025 is set to begin on September 16 in Shenzhen. With a prize pool of USD 1,250,000, the event will feature some of the biggest names in world badminton competing for glory.

For the hosts, a major blow comes as World No. 1 and reigning World Champion Shi Yuqi has withdrawn from the tournament. This leaves Li Shifeng, fresh off his Hong Kong Open title run where he defeated Lakshya Sen in the final, and Lu Guangzu to carry China’s hopes in men’s singles.

In women’s singles, China boasts a formidable lineup with Chen Yufei, Wang Zhiyi, and Han Yue, all eager to secure a home triumph.

The men’s doubles draw will be spearheaded by Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang, who recently clinched the Hong Kong Open title after edging Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty in the final, alongside Liu Yuchen/Ou Xuanyi.

In women’s doubles, the pairs of Liu Shengshu/Tan Ning and Li Yijing/Luo Xumin will lead the charge.

The mixed doubles category is equally stacked, with top home favourites Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping and Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin eyeing the podium.

Outside of China, stars such as Anders Antonsen, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, and An Se-young will look to challenge the hosts in Shenzhen.
