The BWF Swiss Open, popularly known as the Open de Suisse, is an esteemed badminton competition held annually in Switzerland since 1955. Originally part of the BWF Super Series in 2007, it was downgraded to a Grand Prix Gold event in 2011. Since the inception of the BWF World Tour, it has been given the Super 300 Status. The Swiss Open 2025 will be hosted at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, from March 18 to March 23.

After a couple of good tournaments for the Indian contingent over the last few weeks, Indian shuttlers will look to break the title drought this year. Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand and PV Sindhu will be India’s best hopes for a title in Basel. Several promising youngsters to keep an eye on are Ayush Shetty, Tasnim Mir, Anmol Kharb and Rakshita Santosh Ramraj.
