Former South African star AB De Villiers has made a massive prediction for the upcoming WTC final. He admitted that it will be quite tough to predict a winner, but feels that India can get over the line on the final day of the test.

In an interaction on Jio Cinema, De Villiers said that both teams have played a lot of test cricket in recent times, which makes it difficult to choose the favorite among the two. De Villiers stated, "I can say that India in their last Test match at the Oval have got a win against this very strong England team. They will be taking a bit of confidence from that. I think India will come out on top on day five of the Test match. I think it might go all the way. It's a good wicket to bat on but I think the Indian spinners will come into play in the latter stages of the Test match."

Notably, India beat Australia 3-1 at home in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy few months ago. Furthermore, the 39-year-old picked Virat Kohli to do the bulk of the scoring for India in the final. He said that Virat needs to prove a point and he is always up to a challenge in such big games, which is why he will the key player for India in the final.
