Australia tour of Scotland 2024 will be played from September 4 to September 7.

Scotland and Australia will play their first bilateral men’s T20I series this September in Edinburgh. It will be Australia’s first tour of Scotland in 11 years. Australia last toured Scotland for just one ODI match in 2013, which the Aussies won by 200 runs. This will also be the first T20I series for the Kangaroos after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

On July 15, 2024, Cricket Australia (CA) named their squad for the T20I tour of Scotland. Mitchell Marsh, who led the team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, will continue to lead the Australian side in the three-match T20I series against Scotland.

The three-match T20I series between the two nations will be played from September 4 to September 7. All three matches will be played in Edinburgh.

20-year-old Cooper Connolly earned his maiden call-up to the Australian national side, whereas star batter Jake Fraser-McGurk was added to the squad for the three-match T20I series. Notably, test captain Pat Cummins has been rested in order to manage his workload.

On the other hand, left-arm pacer Spencer Johnson, who was part of the Australian squad, was ruled out from the whole series due to an injury he suffered during the Hundred tournament. CA then named Sean Abbott as replacement of Johnson in the squad.

Meanwhile, hosts, Scotland will be led by Richie Berrington. The three T20Is will help Scotland demonstrate their skills and talent against a tough Australian line-up.
