But then came a record-breaking partnership between Matt Renshaw and Jack Wildermuth. They added 211 runs off just 15.2 overs to set an incredible platform for a record chase for their team. Renshaw scored a 48-ball ton and scored 102 off 51, with 5 fours and nine sixes.

Jack Wildermuth carried his bat through and scored a 54-ball 110, with five fours and nine sixes, to take the team home. It was a nightmare of a game for the bowlers, but fans got their money’s worth, and a total of 36 sixes were hit in the game. Fans saw the highest successful run chase in BBL history.
