BPL 2024: Chattogram Challengers squad, schedule, timings, when and where to watch

Chattogram Challengers finished bottom of the BPL table in 2023.

Chattogram Challengers had a disappointing Bangladesh Premier League 2023 and finished at the bottom of the table. Chattogram will be looking to bounce back in the upcoming BPL season 10. BPL 2024 will begin on 19th January with defending champions Comilla Victorians taking on Durdanto Dhaka. The tournament will be played across three venues in Bangladesh.

Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium will host the curtain raiser on 19th January, apart from Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong will also host Bangladesh Premier League matches. Chattogram Challengers will be taking on Sylhet Strikers in their opening encounter of BPL 10. Shuvagata Hom will be leading Chattogram Challengers in the upcoming BPL season.

Chattogram Challengers have failed to win a title so far in Bangladesh Premier League. Their best result came in the second season of BPL where they finished as the runners-up of the league in 2013. Chattogram have played 111 games in the BPL and won 48 matches. Chattogram lost 61 matches in the league so far. They finished bottom of the table in BPL 2023.

Chattogram Challengers Owners

Chattogram Challengers have a controversial run in BPL. The ownership of Chattogram franchise began under SQ Sports but charges related to fixing, delaying of payments revoked their ownership. This corruption scandal prompted a change in the Chattogram’s ownership. Currently Chattogram Challengers are owned by Delta Sports company in the Bangladesh Premier League.
