Hardik Pandya reacts after being traded back to Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2024

Mumbai Indians will be paying 15 crore rupees for Hardik Pandya.
Gujarat Titans have traded Hardik Pandya in an all-cash deal with Mumbai Indians and the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will now represent his old franchise Mumbai Indians. IPL released an official update on Pandya’s trade to end all the speculations building up around players and franchises. Hardik Pandya was traded in a 15 crore rupees all-cash deal as Mumbai Indians made way by releasing Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Mumbai Indians fans are elated to welcome their prodigy Hardik Pandya who left the franchise two years ago and became the captain of Gujarat Titans. Gujarat Titans did wonders in their first two seasons and went on to play IPL finals on both occasions. Hardik also won IPL title in IPL 2022 after defeating Rajasthan Royals in the finals. The all-rounder has reacted to the trade deal and posted an emotional video on social media.
Hardik Pandya reacted after trade
Hardik Pandya posted a video on his social media where he was introduced to the big stage in Indian cricket. Mumbai Indians bought Hardik Pandya for the first time in the auction for his base price of 10 Lakh rupees. Pandya posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “This brings back so many wonderful memories. Mumbai. Wankhede. Paltan. Feels good to be back.” Pandya represented Mumbai Indians in 92 games in the league.
Mumbai Indians owners have also welcomed Hardik Pandya into MI family. Nita Ambani said, “We are thrilled to welcome Hardik back home! It’s a heartwarming reunion with our Mumbai Indians family! From being a young scouted talent of Mumbai Indians to now being a team India star, Hardik has come a long way and we’re excited for what the future holds for him and Mumbai Indians!” Hardik Pandya was part of MI’s 4 title-winning campaigns.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya is also seen as the successor of Rohit Sharma. Rohit has been a magnificent captain of Mumbai Indians and won them a five IPL titles from 2013. With Rohit almost at the end of his career, Hardik Pandya is the front-runner as the leader of MI camp. Hardik’s entry will also end Mumbai Indians’ problem of lack of all-rounders. Mumbai Indians have struggled in the previous two seasons.
