Hardik Pandya reveals his magic!
After the game, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya revealed that he just had a chat with himself before delivering the ball. Pandya said, “On that occasion, I just had a simple chat with myself and basically abused myself (laugh). I was motivating myself to bowl in the right areas and not try to overdo anything.” Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed after scoring 36 runs. Imam had a wonderful start and smashed three boundaries against Mohammed Siraj.
Hardik Pandya drew Imam-ul-Haq forward for a cover drive, but he couldn’t middle the ball properly. The ball moving away got an outside edge of Imam’s bat, and KL Rahul took a screamer behind the wicket. Talking about the game plan, Hardik Pandya revealed, “I think myself and Siraj had a chat that we will be bowling in the right areas and will not look for any extra things other than picking the right lines.”
Indian bowling line-up had a magnificent day against Pakistan in Ahmedabad, and everyone apart from Shardul Thakur chipped in with two wickets. Pakistan were bowled out for 191 runs. Babar Azam’s wicket opened the doors for team India, and they struck back to get the last eight wickets in just 36 runs.
