The two best teams in the world, India and Australia, locked horns with each other at the world’s biggest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The top ten teams from across the world took part in this competition, with some of the biggest names that the games have ever seen.

That is why it was one of the best editions of the ICC Cricket World Cup ever to taken place. It has been a record-breaking tournament that saw some spectacular moments that were never registered before. Not just records, the tournament also saw record-breaking prize money distributed between the ten teams. Every team ended up with a handsome amount of money earned in the tournament.

Here is the amount distributed to each team in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the prize money, which is set to be distributed after the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Four teams out of the top ten qualified for the semi-finals. Six teams were eliminated from the group stage. All six teams will get USD 100,000 each. Apart from that, every win in the group stage will get an amount of USD 40,000. That means Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh will get USD 80,000 for two wins each in the tournament.

England won three games, and they will get USD 120,000 for those wins. Pakistan and Afghanistan won four matches each and will get USD 160,000 each for those wins. Two teams that lose in the semi-finals will get USD 800,000 each. South Africa will get USD 800,000 and win seven games; for that, they will get another 280,000. For New Zealand, they will get USD 800,000 for finishing in the semis, and for their five wins, they will get another USD 200,000. India are the runner-ups and get USD 2,400,000. While Australia with their sixth World Cup title will also get cash prize of USD 4,280,000.
