In the chase, Jemimah Rodrigues played a leading role with her unbeaten 69 runs, driving the team to victory within 15 overs by eight wickets. She was also adjudged Player of the Match for her brilliant half-century.

Sri Lanka Women, who are led by Chamari Athapaththu, will aim for a comeback in the next encounter. However, they will have to come up with a far better show than the previous game if they want to outplay India Women.
