India and England are locking horns in third test of the five-match series at the Lord’s, London.
The Indian Cricket Team and the England Cricket Team are up against each other in the third game of the five-match series. The match between the two teams is taking place at the ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, which commenced on 10th July.
The five-match test series between England and India is levelled at 1-1 after both teams performed magnificently in the first two games. While the hosts won the opening game by five wickets, the visitors made a solid reply in the second match, winning the game by 336 runs.
Given the calibre of cricket both teams have played, the third match promises to be an enthralling and exciting encounter. Coming to the Indian team, they have made one change to their XI as Jasprit Bumrah walked back into the team, replacing Prasidh Krishna.
Jasprit Bumrah was rested from the second game to manage his workload. He will be playing one more game in the series after the ongoing game. On the other hand, Prasidh Krishna didn’t live up to the expectations in the first two games and leaked a lot of runs.
The presence of Jasprit Bumrah no doubt makes the Indian team even stronger. He will be joining the pace attack of Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep, who were exceptional with the ball in the last game, helping India win.
England have also made one change to their XI. Jofra Archer has replaced Josh Tongue in the team. The premier fast bowler returns to the test team after four years and will be keen to make a massive impact.
