IPL 2023 playoffs schedule announced

GT, CSK, LSG, MI qualify as the top four teams to advance to the next stage of IPL 2023.
After over a month's riveting action and after 70 games, the league stage of IPL 2023 came to an end with GT, CSK, LSG, and MI as the top four teams to qualify for the playoffs in that order. Gujarat Titans found a spot for themselves at the top of the shelf a few games before. Waiting for the three spots to be filled, the teams fought it till the last as the vacancies remained open till the last weekend of the league stage. Yesterday, CSK and LSG won their respective matches and booked their tickets to the playoffs. A win for MI and a loss for RCB on Sunday gave us our final four with MI being the luckier side.
GT finished at the top of the charts with 20 points. Next in line, CSK ended the league stage in the second spot with 17 points, and as many points for LSG who ended in the third position. The fourth and the last incumbent, Mumbai Indians edged past RCB to occupy the last spot for the playoffs with 16 points to its name.
The playoffs will commence on 23rd May, Tuesday with Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings going up against each other in Qualifier 1. On 24th May, Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will fight to stay alive in the race to the final in the Eliminator round. The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator round of the IPL 2023 will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai whereas the Qualifier 2 and Final of IPL 2023 are slated to unfurl at the iconic stadium of Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
A loss for RCB helps the cause of MI as they sneak into the IPL 2023 playoffs
Following Mumbai Indians' win over Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier today, RCB's loss against GT sealed the four spots as MI became the latest and the last team to enter the IPL 2023 playoffs. The playoffs schedule will be as follows:-
