IPL 2024 auction: Full list of 20 players who set a base price of 1.5 crores

IPL 2024 auction will take place in Dubai, making it outside India for the first time in the league’s history.

The auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), which will take place in Dubai on December 19, 2023, will include some of cricket’s biggest personalities. The identities of 1,166 registered players were revealed to IPL franchises on Friday.

Among the 1,166 overall players are 830 Indians and 336 foreigners. The list includes 212 capped players, 909 uncapped players, and 45 associate players.

However, after the franchises submit the names of persons they are interested in to the IPL, the final pool will be substantially smaller. There are 45 players from Associate countries on the list, 909 uncapped players, 812 Indians, and 18 capped Indians.

The ten franchises have a total of 77 places to fill in the IPL 2024 auction, 30 of which can be filled by foreign players. At the IPL 2024 auction, a total of INR 262.95 crore will be available for spending.

A total of 25 players including World Cup 2023 winners like, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Travis Head have set their base price at INR 2 crores. While the next base price slab is INR 1.5 crores, for which, a total of 20 players registered their names.

Mohammad Nabi, Moises Henriques, Chris Lynn, Kane Richardson, Daniel Sams, Daniel Worrall, Tom Curran, Marchant de Lange, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Tymal Mills, Phil Salt, Corey Anderson, Colin Munro, Jimmy Neesham, Tim Southee, Colin Ingram, Wanindu Hasaranga, Jason Holder, Sherfane Rutherford.

There are a few players who have also kept their base price at a more mid-range at INR 1 crores in hopes of finding a team at the IPL 2024 auction. New Zealand’s CWC 2023 hero Daryl Mitchell is in this price band, along with countrymates Michael Bracewell, Martin Guptill, Kyle Jamieson, and Adam Milne.
