IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 63, MI vs DC

MI defeated DC by 59 runs in match 63 of IPL 2025.

Mumbai Indians (MI) hosted Delhi Capitals (DC) in match No. 63 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The MI vs DC clash took place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. DC had a target of 181 runs in the match. MI defeated DC by 59 runs to confirm their place in the playoffs. They bundled out DC for 121 runs.

In the chase, DC lost both of their openers KL Rahul (11) and Faf du Plessis (6) cheaply. Batting at No. 3, Abishek Porel also lost his wicket for just 6 runs. MI bowlers showed wonderful teamwork in bowling to crush DC batters. Mitchell Santner and Jasprit Bumrah captured three-wicket hauls.

Earlier, DC stand-in skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to bowl first. MI lost openers Ryan Rickelton (25) and Rohit Sharma (5) cheaply. However, Suryakumar Yadav scored a wonderful knock of an unbeaten 73 runs to power MI to 180/5.

IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the 63rd match of IPL 2025, MI grab the fourth spot in the points table. With 16 points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.292, they have qualified for the playoffs. On the other hand, DC occupy the fifth spot after a defeat in the match. They have 13 points and NRR of -0.019. They have been eliminated from the race to playoffs.

Gujarat Titans (GT) hold the top spot in the points table with 18 points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) occupy the second and third places respectively. Both of them have 17 points. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) languish at the last two spots in the points table.

IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)

Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 73 runs in MI vs DC clash, has leapfrogged Yashasvi Jaiswal in the Orange Cap leaderboard. Yadav now holds the third spot with 583 runs. Jaiswal has dropped down to the fourth spot with 559 runs. Sai Sudharsan (617) and Shubman Gill (601) grab the top two spots in the list of highest run-scorers in IPL 2025. Virat Kohli occupies the fifth spot with 505 runs.

MI pacer Trent Boult, who picked one wicket in the MI vs DC match, has jumped to the third spot in Purple Cap leaderboard with 19 wickets. Josh Hazlewood has dropped down to fourth spot with 18 wickets. Prasidh Krishna and Noor Ahmad grab the top two spots in the top five highest wicket-takers in IPL 2025. Both of them have 21 wickets. Varun Chakravarthy has 17 wickets and occupies the fifth position.
