Mitchell Marsh has slammed four half-centuries in IPL 2025.

In a massive boost for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Mitchell Marsh is set to make a comeback to their playing XI for their match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Australian all-rounder was not part of the playing XI in LSG’s last match.

The LSG vs CSK encounter is the match No. 30 of IPL 2025 and is set to take place on Monday, April 14. The Rishabh Pant & Co. will tackle the Men in Yellow at their home ground – Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Notably, Marsh missed LSG’s previous clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) to take care of his daughter, who was unwell. Himmat Singh replaced him in the playing XI, and skipper Pant took the role of opener in the match. LSG won that game by six wickets.

The 33-year-old slammed stunning knocks in his last two games in IPL 2025 – an 81-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and a 60-run knock against Mumbai Indians (MI). He also slammed half-centuries against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) earlier.

Meanwhile, LSG have played six games in IPL 2025 so far, winning four matches and losing two. The Rishabh Pant-led side occupy fourth spot in the points table with eight points.
