Asia Cup is one of the most entertaining multi-nation tournaments in international cricket, witnessing a battle among top cricketing teams from the Asian sub-continent. Asia Cup traces its origins to 1984, when the tournament was played for the first time in 50-over format.

India are the most successful side in the Asia Cup history with eight titles under their belt. Sri Lanka are next with six trophies, while Pakistan have won the tournament twice. Bangladesh have reached the final several times, but are yet to lay their hands on the gold.

Since its inception, Asia Cup was played in ODI format, however, ahead of the 2016 season, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) took the decision that the format of the tournament will be decided on the basis of the format of upcoming ICC events. Since, the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 was next, the 2016 edition of the tournament was played in T20I format.

Over the years, three editions of the tournament – 2016, 2022 and 2025 – have been played in T20I format. Below, we glance at all the winners of the T20I Asia Cup.
