The saga of triple headers continued in the T20 World Cup 2026, three more games entertained cricket fans on Thursday, February 12.

In the morning game, Group B members Sri Lanka and Oman locked horns at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka halted Oman at 120/9 after posting a mammoth total of 225/5 batting first, winning by a huge margin of 105 runs.

In the afternoon game, Italy scripted history by winning their first-ever game in the T20 World Cup. Italy bowled out Nepal for just 123 runs and later chased down the target by 10 wickets to register a big victory.

In the evening, India captured their second straight win in the tournament against Namibia. With half-centuries by Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, the Men-in-Blue piled up 209/9 in the first innings. Later, they bowled out Namibia for just 116, winning the clash by a mammoth margin of 93 runs.

Group A

India have jumped to the top spot in the Group A points table with four points, followed by Pakistan with an equal number of points. The Netherlands are next with two points, while the USA and Namibia follow them with 0 points each.

Group B

After their victory over Oman, Sri Lanka have moved to the top spot in the Group B points table with four points, followed by Australia and Zimbabwe in the next two spots with two points each. Ireland and Oman are next with 0 points.
