Rajat Patidar will miss the entire IPL 2023 with Achilles heel injury.

RCB’s find of the last season, Rajat Patidar will be out of the action for the entire IPL 2023. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s management were hopeful of him joining the squad in the later part of the tournament. On Tuesday, RCB's official announcement was made that Rajat will be out of the action in the Indian Premier League 2023. Rajat Patidar is currently recovering from his injury and on Wednesday he posted an Instagram story with a message to RCB fans. RCB is yet to find Patidar’s replacement for the IPL 2023 season.

Rajat Patidar's emotional message for RCB

In just one season, Rajat Patidar became an important member of the RCB squad. Patidar in his Instagram story posted a picture with his RCB shirt and a message, “I will miss the Red and Gold Army at Chinnaswamy. No matter where I am, I will cheer for you. Until Next time”. RCB fans were sad about his exit. Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasranga are out of the action for Royal Challengers Bangalore too. Patidar had a wonderful season in IPL 2022. Patidar will make sure that he cheers for RCB from the sidelines.

The 29 year old Batsman from Madhya Pradesh scored 404 runs in 12 innings for RCB in IPL 2022. Patidar’s century against Lucknow Super Giants is always in the memory of RCB fans. That inning stamped Patidar’s place at Number 3 in Royal Challengers Bangalore setup. It will be a big headache for RCB management to look for a replacement for Patidar in the Number 3 position.

In their next game, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday at Eden Gardens. RCB in their first game registered a convincing win over Mumbai Indians. Virat Kohli and Captain Faf had a wonderful partnership of 148 runs while chasing 162.
