Ravindra Jadeja retains top spot, Ben Stokes jumps to third place in latest ICC rankings for test all-rounders after heroics in Manchester test

Ravindra Jadeja and Ben Stokes gave brilliant performances in the 4th ENG vs IND test in Manchester.
After his century in the Manchester test against England, India‘s Ravindra Jadeja has retained his top spot in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings for test all-rounders. Moreover, England skipper Ben Stokes has moved to the third spot.
Jadeja has 422 rating points in his kitty. In the recent fourth test between India and England, he scored a century in the second innings and also clinched a four-wicket haul in the first innings.
On the other hand, Stokes won the Player of the Match award in the Manchester test for his all-round show. The England skipper hit a century and picked a five-wicket haul in the encounter, which ended in a draw. He has jumped three spots in the latest ICC rankings and owns 301 rating points.
Washington Sundar gains eight spots in latest ICC rankings

Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar has jumped eight spots in ICC rankings for test all-rounders. With 193 rating points, he has moved to the 14th spot in the latest rankings. Sundar also smacked a century in the second innings of the Manchester test, helping India evade a defeat.
Ben Stokes is the leading wicket-taker with 17 scalps in the ongoing test series between India and England. Jadeja is the fourth highest run-scorer with 454 runs. He has slammed one century and four half-centuries across eight innings.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder has moved to the fourth spot and Australia skipper Pat Cummins has dropped to the fifth spot. Proteas pacer Marco Jansen now occupies the sixth spot. All three of them have dropped by one spot in the rankings.
England’s Joe Root, who also slammed a century in the Manchester test, occupies the seventh spot among all-rounders. He owns the top spot in ICC rankings for test batsmen. Jadeja and Sundar are the only two Indian players among the top 20 all-rounders in ICC rankings.
