Rinku revealed reason behind his power
Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Sharma had a conversation after the game for BCCI.tv and Rinku revealed the reason behind his brute power in the batting. Rinku Singh credited his gym session to the power-hitting ability. Rinku said, “I like lifting weights, which gives me the power.” Rinku has been in a great form in the ongoing series and played magnificent knocks in all three T20I games for India. He scored big in all three innings he batted.
Jitesh Sharma also made a significant contribution in the team’s score but he was surprised with the way Rinku showed his composure and accepted that he was under pressure while batting. Jitesh told Rinku, “It didn’t look like that this was your first series. I was under a lot of pressure when I came in to bat, you were so calm, picking and choosing the ball to hit.” Rinku told Jitesh that he backs himself while batting as he got a good amount of experience behind.
Rinku Singh added, “Well I have been playing for a long time. I have been playing in the IPL for 5-6 years now. So, that gives me confidence. I back myself and try to keep myself calm.” Rinku won India the first T20I when they needed one run to win the last ball with just two wickets in hand, scored unbeaten 31 runs to take India above 230 in the second game. India and Australia will play the final T20I of the series at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
