Team-wise list of players bought in the IPL 2024 auction

A total of 72 players were bought collectively by all 10 franchises in the IPL 2024 auction.
The IPL 2024 auction witnessed a few records broken with two Australian teammates getting almost half of the total purse of a franchise. Left-armer Mitchell Starc became the most expensive buy in the Indian Premier League history. Kolkata Knight Riders spent a huge 24.75 Crore INR on Starc. His Australian teammate and skipper Pat Cummins also crossed the 20 Crore INR mark as Sunrisers Hyderabad placed the highest bid on the player.
A total of 333 players were picked to go under the hammer. 72 players were sold while the rest remained unsold. There were a few surprising picks as well in the league. Sunrisers Hyderabad got a few bargain buys in the team as well. Hyderabad picked Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga at his base price of just 1.5 Crore INR and in-form Australian opener Travis Head at just 6.80 Crore INR.
