ICC will hand over a prize money of Rs. 39.78 crore to India Women for winning ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

India Women Cricket Team displayed great valour in the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 against South Africa Women, winning the clash by 52 runs. The Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. posted 298/7 in the first innings after being asked to bat first, and later demolished South Africa for 246 runs to clinch the trophy.

Opener Shafali Verma played a crucial role in the victory, smacking 87 runs and clinching two wickets. For her contribution with both bat and ball, she was awarded Player of the Match. Deepti Sharma, with her five-wicket haul, played a key role in restricting South Africa from reaching the target.

Indian Women have won an ICC title for the first time and earned praise from fans and experts all around the globe. Many former and active Indian players also congratulated India Women for their historic victory. Not only this, the Women in Blue will also be handsomely rewarded with cash prizes for their triumph.

Notably, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will award India Women $4.48 million for winning the tournament, which roughly translates to Rs. 39.78 crore. Additionally, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also announced a cash reward of Rs. 51 crore for India Women. The prize will be distributed to players, coaches, selectors, and support staff. Hence, India Women will receive a total prize of Rs. 90.78 crore.

Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana was the leading run-scorer for India Women in the tournament, hitting 434 runs at an average of 54.25 in nine games with one century and two half-centuries. Deepti Sharma finished as the leading wicket-taker in the entire campaign with 22 wickets and was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
