Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed his seventh test century during the clash.

Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal stole the limelight with his brilliant batting show during the second test between Indian Cricket Team and West Indies Cricket Team on Friday, October 10. The left-handed batsman registered his seventh century in the longest format of the game during the encounter, which is underway at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Indian captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bat first in the match as the hosts went with the same playing XI. KL Rahul looked good with the bat but could not hold his wicket for long as spinner Jomel Warrican dismissed him for 38 runs in the first session.

After etching an opening stand of 58 runs with Rahul, Jaiswal continued with his aggressive batting show against the West Indies bowlers. The left-handed batsman reached the three-digit mark in the 51st over, and celebrated it by taking out his helmet and blowing a few kisses to the spectators.
