What are Manchester City players’ wages for the 2022-23 season?
The Citizens have one of the biggest salary bills in world football
Manchester City players earn enormous sums of money since the club is owned by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, one of the richest men in the world. City has witnessed a meteoric surge in its sales, making them one of the world’s most wealthy clubs.
Manchester City’s income has expanded tremendously from 12.7 million to 571.1 million in the 25 years since Money League debuted in 1996-97. Although Covid-19 affected several teams, Manchester City had the least economic impact from the lockdown. The club’s overall income is 644.9 million.
In 2022-23, the reigning champions engendered the greatest money since their revenue was primarily derived from broadcasting revenue, and their commercial also reinforced the clause. And with this massive revenue, the players get substantial wages, plus bonuses, with Erling Haaland‘s salary reaching one million with bonus payments.
