The Reds have a rebuild this summer with many experienced players leaving the club.

The Merseyside club Liverpool are going through a transitional phase under their manager Jurgen Klopp. The German tactician has already once rebuild the Liverpool team when he has arrived in the Premier League back in 2015. This summer represents his second such rebuild of his tenure with many big names such as Firmino, Milner, Mane having left the club already. These are the prospects which could be under Liverpool's radar in the transfer window.

Khephren Thuram (Nice)

The French U21 prospect is one of the key targets for Liverpool. With the possibility of a starting spot in Liverpool's first eleven right from the get go, the decision to sign for them would be an easy one.

The Nice midfielder is younger son of French World Cup winner Lillian Thuram, and plays an important role in his career decisions. Hence, given the physical qualities given, and ability to play as a box-to-box midfielder makes him an attractive prospect for the Reds. He should be available for approximately a 50M price tag from OGC Nice.

Manu Kone (Borussia Monchengladbach)

Another midfield prospect from the French U21 team, Manu Kone is a promising young upcoming midfielder. He can play both as a defensive midfielder, as well as box to box. His qualities lie in high pressing and quick one touch passing from the back in building up play. His high stamina and physicality would provide an extra dimension in the Liverpool midfield which was repeatedly caught out in counter attacking last year.

He's a teammate with fellow Frenchman Khephren Thuram, and the duo could be both seen in Red next year. He has a 25 million Euros release clause at his Bundesliga club, and at such a price point with big upside for the future, Klopp would certainly be interested in acquiring him very soon.

Gabri Veiga (Celta Vigo)

The boyhood Celta Vigo prospect arguably played his best football in the season which concluded in 2023. His 40 million Euros release clause has made a lot of big clubs in Europe, keen to acquire him such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Newcastle, etc and Liverpool. His two goals in the final match in LaLiga against Barcelona, helped Celta avoid relegation and earn eye balls and plaudits.

At 184 cm, Veiga presents a very interesting prospect in his attacking midfield role. He ended the season with 11 goals and 4 assists in LaLiga, a remarkable achievement for a 21 year old. His height, technical ability and the attacking threat from midfield are the reasons making him an ideal profile for Liverpool new look midfield. Very similar to the mould of previous Reds midfielder, Oxlade Chamberlain, Veiga would be a welcome addition to LFC's Midfield which also has former Celta youth products Thiago and Bajcetic in their squad.

Micky Van De Ven (Wolfsburg)

A young 22-year centre-back is probably in the list of targets for Liverpool this season. This Dutch youth product is exactly the profile which fits the criteria for the Reds. Current Liverpool Sporting Director Jorg Schmadke brought him to Wolfsburg when he was in charge there previously. Hence knowing the player well and a prospect worth 25 million euros would be within the budget of his current employer as well as meeting the talent criteria.

Van De Ven is amongst the most promising centre-backs in the Bundesliga who's been a mainstay for Wolfsburg. He's amongst the fastest recorded players in the Bundesliga, despite being 193 cm tall. His ability on the ball and being a left footed player makes him the perfect mould for Klopp's defence which would need depth in the upcoming season and beyond.

Goncalo Inacio (Sporting CP)

The 21-year-old Portuguese centre-back is arguably the standout prospect from his country's youth set-up. Raised out of Sporting Lisbon famed youth academy, Inacio has already hown to make his debut in the Senior national team recently.

His technical qualities and ability to build from the back is already amongst the very elite. His passing numbers, volume and accuracy ranks in the high 90's, despite being a left footed centre back for his club, and makes him a rare profile. He has a 45 million Euros release clause and Liverpool could secure their long term Van Dijk replacement of they're able to bring the 186cm tall centre back to Anfield this summer.
