Bernardo Silva remains confident about Barcelona offer despite Manchester City contract extension rumours

The Spanish club is interested in the Portuguese midfielder
Bernardo Silva is optimistic about Barcelona sending an offer to sign him, despite Manchester City encouraging the Portuguese to extend his contract.
According to reports, the biggest pipe dream of all pipe hopes is almost over, at least for this year. The star of Manchester City, Bernardo Silva, is reportedly close to signing a contract extension with the organisation that will retain him in England through 2025.
This follows rumours that Silva had requested that Pep and City help him relocate outside of England in the event that an acceptable offer came through.
As you can anticipate, the ideal offer for someone like Silva needs to be quite competitive. After all, he did capture the Triple Crown last year.
Silva apparently wanted to move to Barcelona, but that offer is unlikely to arrive from there, so for the time being, Silva is going to battle it out with Pep in Manchester and rake in the riches and accolades.
Silva expects Barcelona to start official talks with Manchester City shortly to accomplish a smooth departure.

Silva will let Pep Guardiola know he wants to depart once Barça and Manchester City have begun formal negotiations.
The 2022–23 treble champions are preparing a fresh renewal offer for Silva and want to persuade him with enticing financial terms and a noteworthy sporting endeavour.
He will, however, hold on to Barcelona and only be concerned about signing the new agreement if the transfer is not successful.
Barça are now required to start the legal process, and they must do so quickly because City will not have time to find someone to replace him if the trade actually goes through.
