Every club in the league has a suitable option to consider in the FPL squads for various qualities

A new season of the FPL is almost here, with the 2023-24 campaign of the Premier League only days away from starting. Managers across the globe have been busy curating their early squad templates and strategizing for the season ahead.

Fantasy Premier League is one of the most popular fantasy football games out there, attracting millions of users every season. Picking an ideal team from a budget of £100 million can be a challenging task for the users considering the vast amount of options at their disposal.

To make the task a little easier, here is a curated list of players, one from each club in the English top division, that one could consider in FPL 2023–24:

Arsenal – Bukayo Saka (£8.5m)

Bukayo Saka FPL
Bukayo Saka scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 2022-23 season

Bukayo Saka scored 202 points last season in the Fantasy Premier League. He is a regular starter in the Arsenal squad and a player who will have a positive impact in the forthcoming fixtures.

Aston Villa – Ollie Watkins (£8.0m)

Ollie Watkins is one of the most sought-after differentials in the forward position ahead of the new season. The striker has low ownership (17.8%) and scored 175 points last season with 15 goals and eight assists.

Bournemouth – Dominic Solanke (£6.5m)

Dominic Solanke is a good option if one is looking for an affordable striker. At £6.5 million, he has a lot of value considering his regular starting position in the lineup. With 130 points last season, FPL managers may opt for him to make up the ranks.

Brentford – Yoane Wissa (£6.0m)

Yoane Wissa comes as a surprise choice, particularly due to the absence of Ivan Toney, who is suspended for a large period of time due to his involvement in a betting scandal. In his place, Wissa is the likely figure to start in the No. 9 role.

Brighton & Hove Albion – Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m)

There are several advantages to picking Kaoru Mitoma from Brighton. One of them is that he is a mid-priced midfielder who plays as an attacking winger, constantly vying to create or score goals.

Burnley – Josh Brownhill (£5.0m)

Josh Brownhill played 3574 minutes in the EFL Championship last season and will likely feature heavily in the upcoming season in the PL. The creative midfielder, at £5.0m, is a cheap differential option with a 0.5% ownership.

Chelsea – Christopher Nkunku (£7.5m)

Christopher Nkunku will cost FPL managers £7.5m, which is not high for a regular starting attacker. He will make his PL debut for the Blues in the upcoming season. His pre-season form, where he scored two goals, is a sign of good things to come.

Crystal Palace – Eberechi Eze (£6.5m)

Eberechi Eze is highly sought-after among FPL experts for mid-priced midfielders. He is the main creative source for Crystal Palace and scored 159 points for the previous reason.

Everton – Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m)

Picking Dominic Calvert-Lewin may be a risk, but it could lead to high rewards. If the striker remains fit and avoids injuries, then at a £6.0m cost and ownership of 2.3%, he is a magnificent FPL option to consider for Everton.

Fulham – Andreas Pereira (£5.5m)

Andreas Pereira is the safe choice for a Fulham side that is suffering from injuries and saw a lot of rotation in pre-season. The midfielder was the second-highest-scoring FPL player from the side last season with 123 points.

Liverpool – Mohamed Salah (£12.5m)

Mohamed Salah is the obvious choice when it comes to FPL assets. The attacker scored 239 points last term with 19 goals and 13 assists. He might be costly, but he is a safe option.

Luton Town – Amari’i Bell (£4.0m)

Fantasy Premier League managers are flocking to sign Amari’i Bell in their squads due to his price of £4.0m. The defender is a regular starter for the newly promoted side and extremely cheap at the same time.

Manchester City – Erling Haaland (£14.0m)

Erling Haaland is the obvious choice for Manchester City. He is part of 86.7% of the FPL squads. The highest-scoring FPL asset last season with 272 points is expected to reach those numbers once again in the 2023–24 season.

Manchester United – Marcus Rashford (£9.0m)

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is a popular pick ahead of the new FPL season. He was the highest-scoring player for the Red Devils last season with 205 points, scoring 17 goals.

Newcastle United – Kieran Trippier (£6.5m)

Kieran Trippier scored the most FPL points from Newcastle United’s squad last term with 198 points. He made nine assists and scored once. Thanks to a strong defensive performance from NUFC, Trippier scored plenty of points through clean sheets.

Nottingham Forest – Morgan Gibbs-White (£6.0m)

Morgan Gibbs-White scored 145 points in the FPL last season, the most by a player in the Nottingham Forest team. He is an excellent choice for an affordable midfielder who is a regular starter at their club.

Sheffield United – Sander Berge (£5.0m)

Sheffield United is a promoted side in the 2023–24 season and therefore full of surprises. Sander Berge is, however, a safe option from the side and comes at a cheap cost of £5.0m. He is a regular starter, takes on set-piece duties, and creates scoring chances for the team.

Tottenham Hotspur – Harry Kane (£12.5m)

Harry Kane FPL
Harry Kane scored 30 goals in 2022-23

Harry Kane is the popular choice from Tottenham Hotspur, as he scored 263 points last season, the second-most behind Erling Haaland. If he stays in the Premier League, then FPL managers must make room for him in their squads, considering the price tag of £12.5 million.

West Ham United – Jarrod Bowen (£7.0m)

West Ham United is going to rely on someone like Jarrod Bowen for goals in the upcoming season. The Hammers have not signed notable players, which means their starting lineup won’t see a lot of changes in the new season. With 5.4% ownership, Bowen is also a potential differential.

Wolverhampton Wanderers – José Sa (£5.0m)

While Wolverhampton Wanderers struggle to score goals, they are a tough team to score against. This is mainly due to the exceptional play of Jose Sa in goal. The £5.0m worth goalkeeper accumulated 148 points last term.
